Details

Support BOAR participants by handing out race shirts and race packets the day before the race. You will also be available to help answer questions and address concerns. Packet pick up location is Shine Beer Sanctuary on E Main.

We need 2 volunteers for each shift. Various shifts are available from 12:00 to 7.30pm.

We will use the "RaceDay CheckIn" App. Please download this app ahead of your volunteer shift. Thank you!

Aid Station Support Medium Priority

Details

Two volunteers are needed to support The BOAR Aid Station. Tasks include: setting up and taking down the Aid Station. Providing first aid support to participants as needed.

Experience in emergency medical services is valued for this volunteer position- although not required. We will have ambulance services on stand-by on race day.

Obstacle Marshalls High Priority

Details

Are you excited to support BOAR participants tackling and overcoming obstacles on the course?

We need 15 to 20 volunteers to be stationed at obstacles on the course to help participants understand the obstacle and offer encouragement as they move through the obstacles. Safety will be our top priority and these volunteers will ensure safety and fun!

The ability to walk up to 2kms to obstacles, comfort with standing for long periods of time and a willingness to be in the hot sun. Encouraged to bring a chair and sunscreen, etc.
sun (or rain?) is essential. Volunteers may be stationed on the 1km or 5 km course.

Obstacle Set Up and Break Down High Priority

These positions are essential to making this race happen!

We are looking for about 10-15 people to support setting up obstacles all day Friday and break them down and pack them up after the race on Saturday.

We will store obstacles after the event in a couple of box trucks or take them obstacles directly back to storage located near the event.
